Sanrio is launching five new “Hello Kitty and Friends” games on web and mobile platforms.

European digital gaming company Azerion is the latest partner to join the Sanrio licensing family in a collaboration to create five new games.

“We are extremely glad to partner with Azerion on this new project,” says Silvia Figini, chief operating officer, Sanrio. “The combination of the global appeal of Hello Kitty and the great experience of Azerion in developing and publishing high-quality, engaging games will generate the perfect formula to deliver fantastic gaming experience to our worldwide audience.”

“Azerion’s partnership with Sanrio's Hello Kitty and Friends supports the iconic brand in becoming a fully fledged media franchise,” says Erol Ertuk, executive vice president, games and strategic partnerships, Azerion. “Azerion will give Hello Kitty and Friends cross- and multi-platform reach, specifically with customized concepts for our publishing partners. We are honored to have Sanrio's trust in this and are thrilled about the possibilities."

The first games set to launch include “Hello Kitty Pinball” and “Hello Kitty and Friends Jumper” and will be accessible by web browser to ensure a diverse reach and ease-of-access for established Hello Kitty fans.
