Maurizio Distefano Licensing, which oversees licensing for the “Angry Birds” brand and its spin-off brand The Hatchlings in Italy and Switzerland, brokered the deal.
The deal sees “Angry Bird’s” spin-off brand The Hatchlings figures added to kiosks across the region, which include a range of 12 soft toys in colorful casings.
The magazine packaging is supported by ad campaigns, TV spots and in-store displays. The Angry Birds movie sequel is set to be released in Italy in 2019.
