Rezzil, in partnership with the Premier League, has announced “Premier League Player,” the first officially licensed Premier League virtual reality (VR) game. The game will debut later this year exclusively on Meta Quest platforms.

The new VR experience will allow users to engage with the Premier League like never before. Through the Moments feature, players can step into the action, recreating pivotal plays from the 2023-2024 season with precise detail. Featuring all 20 Premier League teams with authentic kits and stadiums, the game offers an immersive, fan-focused experience.

“We’re incredibly excited to bring ‘Premier League Player’ to Meta Quest,” says Andy Etches, co-founder, Rezzil. “This isn’t just a game; it’s an experience that transports fans onto the pitch. With our Moments feature, players can relive iconic Premier League matches as if they were there. We can’t wait to see the incredible reactions from fans when they step into the virtual world of the Premier League.”

More details, including game modes, pricing and release date, will be announced in the coming months.
