Atari’s “Battlezone” property will return with two new games–“Battlezone 98 Redux” and “Battlezone”–by U.K. game developer Rebellion.

“Battlezone 98 Reducx” is a re-mastered version of the 1998 “Battlezone” game from Activision. The re-mastered version will blend the first person tank combat and real-time strategy found in the 1998 game. It is available now for PC.

“Battlezone” is a VR reboot of the original 1980 arcade game and will immerse players in the cockpit of their own tank through a VR experience. It will launch alongside the PlayStation VR this October–and the Oculus Rift later this year.

“Battlezone” is also available for licensing in the apparel, toys, electronics and trend merchandise categories.
