The developers of “PlayersUnknown Battlegrounds” have partnered with AMC to bring the world of “The Walking Dead” to gamers.

AMC’s collaboration will bring undead creatures from the series into the world of “PUGB” Mobile by introducing a new zombie survival mode. The news was announced at this year’s PUBG Mobile Club Open in Berlin, Germany. In a brief teaser clip of the mode, a zombie was shown walking toward a helmet abandoned on an in-game beach.

A new version of Erangel, “PUBG Mobile’s” first map, will also be receiving an upgrade along with the new Zombie mode. The revised map is getting upgraded with the addition of new terrain, buildings and enhanced quality and clarity throughout. James Yang, director of PUBG Mobile Global Esports, Tencent Games, also announced that the game has reached 400 million downloads and a whopping 50 million daily active players since debuting in 2017.
