Movile’s subscription-based entertainment app for kids, “PlayKids,” is adding e-books and more TV series to its service and has received an additional $5 million in funding.

Among the e-books that will now be available are: The Three Bears, The Three Little Pigs, The Tortoise and the Hare, Selfish Giant, Puss in Boots and The Pied Piper.

The PBS series “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood” and “Dinosaur Train” are also being added.

The $5 million dollar investment and new content offerings come after “PlayKids” expanded into 24 new countries in January.
