Outright Games and Dr. Seuss Enterprises have launched a special Holiday Edition of “The Grinch: Christmas Adventures,” a video game adaptation of the classic Dr. Seuss story, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” The updated physical edition includes four collectible postcards featuring new artwork inspired by the original illustrations of Dr. Seuss.
The Holiday Edition can now be purchased for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch and PC. Each of the four included postcards showcases a scene from the classic tale, such as the Grinch tying antlers to his dog Max or sneaking through a Who-ville home, illustrated in a black-and-white pencil style with splashes of red.

“With Christmas just around the corner, we are delighted to celebrate not only the festive season, but also the imaginative world of Dr. Seuss, with these beautiful postcards that faithfully honor his iconic artwork from the classic book, ‘How The Grinch Stole Christmas,’” says Stephanie Malham, managing director, Outright Games.
Originally released in 2023, “The Grinch: Christmas Adventures” is a 2D platformer adventure game in which players take on the role of the Grinch as he attempts to ruin Christmas in three iconic locations: the Grinch’s cave, the countryside and Who-ville. The game supports local two-player co-op, allowing fans to play as the Grinch and his dog, Max, as they complete puzzles and unlock disguises to advance through the levels.
This marks the first video game adaptation of the Grinch story in 16 years, providing a modern interactive experience for families to enjoy the Dr. Seuss classic in a new format.
