Nintendo of America has renewed its partnership with Goldie Marketing in Australia for another three years, after signing an extension to their current merchandise licensing agreement.
The renewal of Goldie Marketing's licensing agreement will ensure that the company can carry out long-term plans and create a broader range of toys based on Nintendo's Super Mario Bros., Mario KartWii and Nintendogs franchises.
"The Goldie team loves promoting the brand and bringing Super Mario to life through toys," says Stephen “Goldie” Goldsworthy, founder and namesake, Goldie Marketing. "We are very happy to have the opportunity to continue working with such iconic brands for another three years and to support Nintendo's initiatives in video gaming categories."
Goldie Marketing will continue to produce Super Mario Bros. themed collectible figures, plush and general toy lines. It also plan to expand the range of their radio-controlled Mario Kart Wii-themed karts. A new line of Nintendogs themed toys is also being developed, which will include figurines and playsets.
