The Major League Baseball Player Association, in partnership with Honeycomb, has debuted a new mobile social community, called “Infield Chatter.”

The first-of-its-kind platform will serve a dedicated mobile destination for players to directly connect with their fans and engage on any number of subjects. “Infield Chatter” will also feature behind-the-scenes photos and videos, regular video chats, contests and competition, the ability to share photos and more.

“Infield Chatter” already has more than 1,000 players on board and is now available via the App Store and Google Play.
