The team behind the upcoming video game will work with “Peaky Blinders” producer Caryn Mandabach Productions to create an interactive VR experience that leverages AI technology to identify player actions. Players in the game will infiltrate the underground criminal world of an urban street gang to try and defeat a rival gang.

“This is a unique VR experience, developed with cutting edge technology, which will allow ‘Peaky Blinders’ fans to totally immerse themselves in the world of the Shelby brothers,” says Anil Mistry, director of games and gambling, Endemol Shine Group. “As we continue to explore exciting new ways for our audiences to enjoy their favorite show, this is a great addition to our growing ‘Peaky Blinders’ games portfolio.”

The VR experience marks another video game endeavor for the “Peaky Blinders” franchise. Earlier this year, Endemol Shine announced the development of a computer and console game based on the BAFTA-winning show.

The “Peaky Blinders” VR video game will launch in 2020.
