LEGO brings its virtual DOTS patterns to the virtual islands of “Animal Crossing: New Horizons.”

LEGO has announced the launch of LEGO DOTS patterns in the virtual world of "Animal Crossing: New Horizons."

DOTS are a 2D tile-based play concept that were introduced earlier this year when LEGO unveiled its HOUSE OF DOTS line made in collaboration with artist Camille Walala. The interactive installation was designed to provide open-ended creative play for LEGO fans. LEGO DOTS offers a novel way to add to surfaces and customize them with multiple shapes and colors.

The "Animal Crossing" LEGO DOTS line takes the physical toys and brings it to the game's virtual islands. DOTS patterns are available to be added to game walls and floors to add unique designs to players' islands. 

The DOTS patterns were originally announced as a Halloween collaboration with references including ghosts and bats. All digital DOTS patterns offered for 

LEGO's new partnership adds to other virtual "Animal Crossing" team-ups with Gillette Venus and Tatcha.
