ZeptoLab has announced two new publishing deals for its hit app “Cut the Rope” in the U.K. and Ireland. ITV Studios Global Entertainment, the brand’s agent in the E.U, brokered the deals.

Pedigree Books is planning a Cut the Rope 2014 Annual that will be published this August. Pedigree has already released a Cut The Rope Sticker & Poster Activity Annual, as well as a Cut The Rope Super Doodle Activity Annual, both of which are available at major U.K. retailers such as Argos.

Additionally, Titan Magazines is planning to publish a Cut The Rope magazine that will bring the game’s bold graphics and popular star Om Nom to print. The first in the series of magazines targeted to kids ages 5 to 9 is already on sale, with additional issues planed for mid-June and late-December. Each magazine will feature puzzles, games, features, posters, comic strips and a collectible gift.

“Cut the Rope is a property with enormous potential in so many categories and publishing is one of the most important,” says Trudi Hayward, senior vice president, global merchandising, ITVS GE. “We are therefore delighted to be working with these licensees–all major names in publishing–on these entertaining and beautifully produced publications, all of which perfectly capture the spirit of one of the world’s best-loved games.”
