HP has acquired the gaming accessory brand.

Gaming company HyperX has been acquired by HP for $425 million, giving HP a major foothold in the gaming accessory market.

HP will buy the HyperX brand from Kingston, the current owner, but Kingston will retain the DRAM, flash and SSD products.
