Hasbro’s Snake Eyes Headed to ‘Fortnite’

IMG has announced a new deal between Hasbro and Epic Games to introduce the first-ever character integration with “Fortnite” for a special Snake Eyes outfit.

The popular G.I. JOE character Snake Eyes marks an important first for the Hasbro x Epic Games collaboration, as “Fortnite” heats up its already huge roster of global partners. To celebrate the new in-game collaboration, Hasbro and Epic Games are teaming up to release a Fortnite x G.I. JOE Snake Eyes Zero Point Edition figure exclusive to Hasbro Pulse shoppers in the U.S. and Canada. 

“G.I. JOE and ‘Fortnite’ have both solidified their place in pop culture with massive, global fan bases, and we are beyond excited to bring these worlds together for the first time as ‘Fortnite’ welcomes Snake Eyes, one of the most popular and mysterious members of team G.I. JOE,” says Adam Biehl, senior vice president and general manager, action brands, Hasbro. “We’re always looking for opportunities to reach fans in new ways, and this collaboration with Epic Games to bring fans the Snake Eyes Outfit and action figure is yet another exciting evolution for the brand. Wherever there’s trouble, G.I. JOE is there – and that includes joining the amazing adventure in ‘Fortnite.’” 

For the in-game appearance of Snake Eyes, fans can gain access to the “Fortnite” Item Shop for 1800 V-Bucks, featuring a design faithful to the iconic G.I. JOE character, while collectors and fans of both properties can head online to pick up the highly detailed six-inch action figure on Hasbro Pulse.
