Gamefam has announced the extension of its partnership with Moose Toys to bring the Heroes of Goo Jit Zu line to Roblox, beginning Oct. 12. The Heroes will be making their debut in the metaverse with a takeover of two of Gamefam’s Roblox games, “Weapon Fighting Simulator” and “Easy Obby,” ensuring major engagement with a critical user base of Gen Z and Alpha players.

“Moose Toys has been leading the way with some of the most innovative products in the toy industry, and now we’re partnering to bring the same level of innovation to Roblox and delight kids where they hang out in this new era of play,” says Ricardo Briceno, chief business officer, Gamefam. “The Goo Jit Zu program on Roblox will exemplify how we are rewriting the playbook on building buzz for toys among kids in the lead-up to the holidays.”

The Heroes of Goo Jit Zu integration will allow players to complete a cross-game quest involving duels in “Weapon Fighting Simulator” and a branded obstacle course within “Easy Obby.” They will be able to:

  • Earn Goo Jit Zu-inspired weapons to use for the quests and against enemies

  • Meet and interact with their favorite Heroes

  • Unlock free Goo Jit Zu-themed reward items to take with them across any Roblox experience

“Since its launch in 2019, Heroes of Goo Jit Zu has become a smash hit with a dedicated global fan base and activating on Roblox is a natural progression and key media lever for us, as a more immersive and interactive experience for fans,” says Katherine Resto, senior director, media, Moose Toys. “Gamefam is a leading game developer, particularly when it comes to Roblox and as we continue pushing gaming as a key media lever for Moose, their partnership has been invaluable.

“Working with Gamefam to debut these beloved characters on Roblox will not only delight our existing fan base of aspiring Heroes but also draw in new fans in a fun way that resonates with them in the long run.”

This Heroes of Goo Jit Zu integration marks the latest in Gamefam’s long-standing partnership with Moose Toys. The companies previously worked together to bring Magic Mixies to two of Gamefam’s Roblox games, “Twilight Daycare” and “Easy Obby.”

The activation within “Weapon Fighting Simulator” and “Easy Obby” is available to play for free on Roblox via most platforms and devices, including consoles, PCs, mobile and tablets.
