G FUEL, FaZe Clan Announce Licensing Deal

Gaming organization, FaZe Clan, and energy drink brand, G FUEL, have announced the revival of their partnership and, with it, a new multiyear, multi-million-dollar sponsorship and licensing deal. 

One of the largest transactions in GameSquare’s (owner of FaZe Clan) history, the partnership will grant FaZe Media an equity component in G FUEL. This will be FaZe Media’s first long-term sponsorship deal.  

“Reuniting with G FUEL  is a full circle moment for us,” says FaZe Banks, chief executive officer, FaZe Media and founder, FaZe Clan. “As we focus on reconnecting with our roots, this partnership represents more than just a business deal, it’s a revival of the legendary history from the OG FaZe days. We’re excited to kick off this new chapter with G FUEL and look forward to creating content and new products together.”  

The partnership kicks off this month with G FUEL as the presenting sponsor for the FaZe Clan Subathon, a monthlong streaming marathon. For September, the FaZe House will be renamed the “FaZe G FUEL House” as an homage to FaZe Clan’s original NYC house that G FUEL sponsored in 2014. The Subathon event will showcase the influence of user-generated content and FaZe’s creators. In addition, FaZe Media and G FUEL will launch in-person collaborations and co-branded products throughout the partnership.
