Studio Licensing has negotiated a new promotional partnership for Zeptolab’s “Cut the Rope” that will bring the app’s main character, Om Nom, to popcorn pails in Canada.

The new partnership with Kernels Popcorn begins rolling out at retailers this month.

At launch, each popcorn pail also includes a Cut The Rope grab bag filled with the collectible mini-figures, called Nommies, as well as special access to new levels in the game app.

“We are delighted to partner with Kernels on this excellent program with its one-of-a-kind promotion,” says Robert Miller, president, Studio Licensing. “This is a strong example of how diverse the Cut the Rope licensing program is, with yet another unique way to reach fans. The gift with purchase is also a great opportunity to support the cross-promotion of the wider toy program.
