'Crosswords' Crossing Over to Gaming Systems

Program Partners and Merv Griffin Entertainment (MGE) announced that THQ Inc. has licensed the rights to develop the console video game based on Merv Griffin’s “Crosswords,” the No. 1 new game show in syndication. The agreement, brokered by the William Morris Agency, calls for Crosswords video games to be developed for Xbox LIVE Arcade for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation2 computer entertainment system.
