“Pac-Man,” “Galaga” and “Dig Dug” inspire new line of collectible table top games and handheld devices.

NORTH AMERICA–Bandai Namco Entertainment has teamed up with My Arcade to develop a range of collectible table top arcade machines and portable handheld devices.

The initial line will feature classic games including “Pac-Man,” “Galaga” and “Dig Dug,” with additional titles to be released at a later date. Furthermore, the new devices will feature artwork based on each games’ original cabinets, as well as other features such as backlit coin traps, a removable joystick and more.

"We are honored to work with Bandai Namco Entertainment to bring such iconic titles to a new generation of gamers," says Crystal Dugan, marketing manager, MyArcade. "‘Pac-Man,’ ‘Dig Dug’ and ‘Galaga’ are nostalgic titles for myself and everyone who grew up playing them at their local arcade. They are such an important part of gaming history and we are thrilled to bring these back in a unique way to a whole new audience. “

The licensed table top arcade machines and handheld devices will be available at retail in the spring.  A preview of the collection will also be on display at My Arcade's CES booth (#31578).
