Capcom has launched a new Peanuts puzzle game from the Japanese developer Capcom. The single player game, which is free to download, is available in 59 countries around the world.

Players will visit global cities and interact with Peanuts characters as they journey through the puzzle game. Game play involves tapping pieces of the same color to clear the board. Along the way, users will have the ability to collect outfits and icons as they travel through the map of the world.

“Having seen great success in the Japanese market with our other games through Capcom, we are excited to broaden this launch to the rest of the world,” says Lisa Shirai, senior director, territory management, Peanuts Worldwide. “Peanuts is a part of daily life since its origin in the comics pages, and now through mobile gaming.”

In honor of this year marking its 70th anniversary, Peanuts has ventured on multiple recent licensing deals. In addition to the new Capcom game, Peanuts Worldwide recently partnered with Kilburn Live for immersive entertainment experiences. They also released a collection of jewelry with Tatty Devine.
