BBC Worldwide Digital Entertainment & Games and Legacy Games are bringing 18th century writer Jane Austen into the 21st century with a new PC game.

In the hidden-object adventure game, “Jane Austen’s Estate of Affairs,” players take on the role of Austen’s niece Christiana as she embarks on a journey to save her aunt’s estate and legacy.

Players search for Austen’s unpublished novel while solving mini-games and puzzles, exploring actual scenes from Austen’s life and reading excerpts from Austen’s novels.

“Legacy is pleased to be working with the BBC on this wonderful story of adventure and romance. We hope that ‘Estate of Affairs’ will introduce new audiences to Austen's timeless legacy through engaging game play and stories," says Ariella Lehrer, chief executive officer, Legacy Games.

“Jane Austen’s Estate of Affairs” is now available on the Legacy Games website.
