Arcade1Up has announced three new additions to the company’s sales team to support its growth and expanding U.S. and international business. Eric Van Kannel, Michael Fisher and Kuntha Kith have been hired as director of digital sales, sales manager and director of business planning respectively for the at-home retro arcade game entertainment company. All three will report to Chris Cardenas, vice president, sales. Long-time employee, David McIntosh, has been promoted to vice president, retailer marketing.

The news follows the announcement in July that Arcade1Up had bolstered its leadership team, with the appointment of new marketing, partnerships and sales executives.

“Our business has really taken off over the last several years and, as we head into a new year, adding these key new hires to round out our team was an essential step to supporting that growth,” says Cardenas. “I’m thrilled to leverage their collective experience in the consumer electronics industry to give us new ways to expand our business and open up new channels and opportunities as we continue our mission to create full-size arcades for the home that are accessible to the masses.”

As director, digital sales, Van Kannel will oversee key sales accounts across digital-only retailers and online counterparts for brick and mortar. Van Kannel joins from TCL where he served as director of e-commerce sales.

With over 15 years of experience in the consumer electronics industry, Fisher will be charged with growing the company’s club relationships, while ensuring well-executed distribution for new product launches. Fisher most recently spent six years at Bose Corporation where he held multiple sales roles, managing large regional retailers and leading the custom-install channel and distribution. Prior to Bose, Fisher held positions at Toshiba and Haier, managing television and audio products.

Kith joins as director, business planning, from TCL where he served in the same role, developing systems/processes, building supply chain company culture and driving growth across categories. A “40 under 40” honoree from Dealerscope magazine, Kith helped TCL grow to the No.2 brand in the TV category. Prior to his eight years at TCL, Kith served as senior sales analyst for Toshiba and senior forecast analyst at Vizio.

With Arcade1Up since its inception in 2018, McIntosh has headed up the company’s marketing and communication team during his tenure. In his new role, he will guide Arcade1Up’s new focus on reaching consumers through retailer specific marketing initiatives.
