Activision Sends Games to Apple TV

Apple TV announced Wednesday that as part of its new Apple TV update, several Activision games would now be available via the smart TV platform.

Among these is the upcoming "Guitar Hero Live," a new iteration of the popular gaming franchise. Also included in the partnership will be the latest "Skylanders" game, "Skylanders SuperChargers" and "Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved."

With the new version of "Guitar Hero Live," which will also be available for other iOS devices including iPads and iPhones, players will be able to play the game from the comfort of their living room or take it on the go with a Bluetooth Guitar controller.
