Activision Publishing has developed a single- and multi-player singing video game based on the music competition series "The Voice."

Arriving on consoles Oct. 21, the video game is licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and lets players take the place of contestants on the show.

From the blind auditions to the battle rounds, all the way to the finale, fans will experience the show from an insider's perspective. A party mode, lets friends battle together or against each other, singing hit songs that span the rock, R&B, pop and country genres. Singers can also practice real-world techniques in Voice Coach Mode like singing runs and harmonizing.

"The Voice" will be available for Sony’s PlayStation3, Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Nintendo’s WiiU and Wii systems.

Season seven of the TV  series "The Voice" will premiere Sept. 22 with new coaches Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams joining Blake Shelton and Adam Levine.
