‘Rocket League’ and Nike Celebrate Football’s Biggest Event with The Nike FC Cup

is again partnering with

Nike

to introduce the

Nike FC Cup Event

in “

Rocket League

.” The event takes place Nov. 17 through Dec. 6 and will feature in-game challenges and rewards, a fan clash event, a Nike-themed mode and item shop content inspired by some of football’s biggest stars.

The Nike FC Cup spans multiple weeks with content being released on Nov. 17, followed by another release on Nov. 30. The content will release as follows:

Beginning Nov. 17:

New Challenges and Rewards – The Nike FC Cup Event will feature 10 in-game challenges to earn rewards including Country Player Banners and Country Decals. The challenges will be available to complete until Dec. 6. 

Fan Clash: Nike FC Cup – Players will choose from 40+ country teams to represent by signing up on the Fan Clash website (launching Nov. 17) and earn points to get their team to the top of the Fan Clash leaderboard. Players on the winning team will receive the “Nike FC Cup MVP” Title and the top four teams will receive the

New Item Shop Content – The item shop will feature a slew of Nike items including The Nike Next Generation Pack and The Nike CR7 Pack, which includes a decal inspired by Cristiano Ronaldo’s CR7 Mercurial Boot. These will be available in the Item Shop until Dec. 6. 

Beginning Nov. 30: 

Nike FC Showdown LTM – A new Nike-themed limited-time mode will be available set on a new Nike-themed version of Champion’s Field. It is a 4v4 mode that gives players a more soccer-like feeling by replacing the standard ball with a Nike ball, making the max speed faster, and lowering the ball’s bounciness. This LTM will be available until Dec. 14. 

More Item Shop Content – Additional Nike-related content will be added to the item shop. All the items will be available in the Item Shop until Dec. 6.
