'Licensing 101' session will feature overview of the industry and a Shopkins case study.
Senior licensing executives Jessica Blue of UBM Americas and Dianne Bellchambers of Moose Toys will host a session on brand licensing basics at New York Toy Fair this Saturday.
Blue is senior vice president of licensing at UBM Americas (organizer of Licensing Expo and Brand Licensing Europe) and Dianne Bellchambers is global head of licensing at Shopkins creator Moose Toys.
The session, "Licensing 101" will take place at the Javits Center Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in level 1, Hall 1E, room 1E17.
During the presentation, Blue will provide an overview of how licensing works, some of the successful business models that can be implemented and the top trends of 2016, while, Bellchambers will present a case study featuring the Shopkins brand.
The presentation will launch the Toy Industry Association’s four-session Licensing Content Connection at New York Toy Fair, which is presented by UBM Americas.
