Digital Media Summit will focus on how the industry can leverage online content creators.
Licensing Expo will host the second annual Digital Media Licensing Summit on June 20 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nev.
Starting at 11:45 a.m. PST, the day-long schedule of seminars will take an in-depth look at online content creators and how they are leveraging their success on platforms such as YouTube, Vimeo and Vine. The sessions are designed to help licensors, licensees and retailers navigate and take advantage of both existing and emerging opportunities that digital content and its platforms offer.
Licensing Expo, organized by UBM Americas, is sponsored by the International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association. The summit is part of the LIMA-hosted Licensing University and is free to attend to all exhibitor and attendee badge holders, with no separate registration required. Registration for Licensing Expo is available here.
“Last year, the Digital Media Licensing Summit focused on the ‘why’–why is this important to the licensing industry?” says Jessica Blue, senior vice president, licensing, UBM. “Now we are focusing on the ‘how’–how can the licensing industry leverage this opportunity in the brand extension space?”
