The Toy of the Year recipient will extend its reach into animated content.

NORTH AMERICA–WowWee has tapped Quebec-based studio Squeeze to adapt its Fingerlings toy line into an animated series.

The agreement will see Squeeze leverage its creative abilities to transform the Toy of the Year recipient into animated characters and a slate of short-form animated episodes. 

The Fingerlings-themed content will launch this spring.
