Wondery Kids, ‘Wow in the World’ Launch STEM Toys
Consumer products inspired by the kids’ and family science podcast, “Wow in the World,” are available at retail and Amazon.
Wondery has announced the retail launch of its line of toys and consumer products inspired by the science podcast for kids and their grown-ups, “Wow in the World.” The Wondery Kids & Wow in the World toy line offers enriching and innovative products that reimagine timeless toys and play patterns for the modern kid by leveling up the play, giving kids and their grown-ups a new way to engage.
Classic toys are paired with companion audio from “Wow in the World” podcast hosts, Guy Raz and Mindy Thomas. As kids build, tinker and play, with STEM kits from Thames & Kosmos, they can listen to “bonkerballs” facts about the natural world, like how crystals and rainbows are related, why some plants glow in the dark and how fossils formed. From rockets that “fart” to dino-mite dinos, these toys fuse fun with hands-on STEM learning for a new way to play. Additional toys, including detailed dino-play figurines from toy and games-maker, Goliath, and audio-play figurines from screen-free audio company, tonies, allow kids to unleash their curiosity and have a lot of fun along the way.
In support of the toys this holiday season, Wondery Kids and “Wow in the World” are kicking off a full “Make it WOW” campaign, to ignite the fun for this new line of STEM kits, dino play and story time. Numerous moments throughout the rest of the year will be used to spotlight the toy line, as in November the brand goes “Bonkerballs Over STEM” for National STEM/STEAM Day (Nov. 8) and for National STEAM Month and makes it a “Holiday of WOW” in December.
The line is available on the new Wondery Kids Amazon storefront. Select toys are also available at specialty retailers, including Learning Express, Barnes & Noble, Nordstrom, Indigo and Mastermind Toys.
