Warner Bros. Consumer Products has signed a new deal with Jazwares for figures and plush based on several classic Hanna-Barbera cartoon characters, including The Flintstones, The Jetsons and Tom & Jerry.

The line will include 12-inch pull-string plush with sound, plush deluxe sets, 3-inch articulated figures, 2-inch collector’s figure sets and 6-inch figures.

Products will hit toy aisles across the U.S. this month and roll outs will continue into the fall, featuring familiar faces from eight popular Hanna-Barbera properties, including “The Flintstones,” “The Jetsons,” “Tom & Jerry,” “Yogi Bear,” “Space Ghost,” “Secret Squirrel,” “Captain Caveman” and “Hong Kong Phooey.”

“Hanna-Barbera’s dozens of familiar series and characters have entertained both parents and children for decades,” says Brad Globe, president, WBCP. “Jazwares has a remarkable ability to bring popular television characters to life as toys without compromising their nostalgic appeal, which is why we are excited to be working with them to introduce eight of Hanna-Barbera’s classic series to an entirely new generation.”

During its existence, Hanna-Barbera Productions created more than 70 animated movies and television series for families. Fifty years since their original air date, many Hanna-Barbera series continue to air in syndication around the globe.
