Usaopoly Introduces Munchkin ‘SpongeBob SquarePants’ to Market

A version of the role-playing card game Munchkin modeled after “SpongeBob Squarepants” has been released by The Op in its latest collaboration with Steve Jackson Games.

The new Munchkin allows fans to play as characters from the Nickelodeon show including SpongeBob SquarePants, Patrick Star, Squidward Tentacles, Mr. Krabs, Sandy Cheeks or Pearl Krabs. Each character comes armed with their own special abilities.

Multiple card types pay tribute to the show. Enemies in the game include DoodleBob (who serves up a creative challenge) or Man Ray (who poses a threat to Allies). Curses such as Door to Door, treasure cards like One-Shots, armor such as the Astronaut Suit or Jellyfishing Net and allies like King Neptune and Bubble Buddy are some of the game’s choices.
