Thinker-Tinker, a tech startup from Comcast NBCUniversal LIFT Labs Accelerator, has announced plans to develop its inaugural line of DreamWorks “Trolls” interactive plush.
The line of plush character collectibles will connect to a mobile app that enables fans to bring their favorite “Trolls” characters to life.
“We are excited to collaborate with Thinker-Tinker and introduce an all-new way to play with some of the franchise’s most beloved characters,” says Tracy Warshauer, vice president of toys and hardlines, Universal Brand Development. “Thinker-Tinker’s original learning plush, Octobo, was the inspiration for this unique collectible line of plush, and the DreamWorks ‘Trolls’ collection will take the creativity to an entirely new level.”
The line will launch just a few months after the newest movie in the series, “Trolls World Tour,” premieres Apr. 17.
“We are honored to be building this product with the DreamWorks ‘Trolls’ franchise,” says Yuting Su, chief executive officer, Thinker-Tinker. “Our mission is always focused on designing better and more engaging learning opportunities when it comes to screen time for kids. The DreamWorks Trolls project is a whole new interactive experience, and we are so excited to launch this product for the mainstream consumer market.”
The new DreamWorks ‘Trolls’ collectible interactive plush line from Thinker-Tinker will launch in Summer 2020.
