Annual awards recognize 'Doc McStuffins,' Shopkins, Star Wars and more.

The 16th Annual Toy of the Year Awards, hosted by the U.S. Toy Industry Association, honored the best toys and games of the year including the Toy of the Year–Disney's "Doc McStuffins" Pet Wet Checkup Center.

Other licensed brands that struck it big at the annual awards included Disney and Lucasfilm's Star Wars and Moose Toys' Shopkins.

The event also marked the induction of Bob Iger, chairman and chief executive officer of the Walt Disney Company, into the Toy Industry Hall of Fame.

TOTY Award winners were selected with the input of consumers on ToyAwards.org, retailers, media and members of the toy industry.
