Toys have run in the Tomiyama family since 1924. For almost a century, each toy has been built on the philosophy, “True toys must have an element of fresh surprise, a sense of creativity and design. Without these, there is no progress,” said by founder Eiichiro Tomiyama. Today, the phi-losophy is still in place and has taken the signature TOMY brand of innovation in play to every family home, toy box and nursery across the globe.

“We are almost 100, and [Tomiyama’s mantra] is still so true,” says Morgan Weyl, senior director, global toys, TOMY International. “Our company has been a toy and trend pioneer, answering kids’ evolving behaviors, always without any compromise to its core principles.”

The core principles of quality, creativity and multi-generational play dates back to 1920s Japan but can today be found in TOMY’s range of instantly recognizable classic brands and cutting-edge ranges, designed and developed in collaboration with the world’s biggest IPs.
