HIT Entertainment and Fisher-Price are geared up for the latest Thomas toy launch, themed around the DVD release "Misty Island Rescue - The Movie" on Sept. 7.

The Fisher-Price toy line includes a Zip, Zoom & Logging Adventure play set ($59.99), Thomas & Friends Shake Shake Bridge ($24.99), Rescue from Misty Island play set ($39.99) and Follow Me Thomas, a chunky-sized engine with lantern remote ($44.99).

Last week, HIT and Fisher-Price brought a life-sized Thomas the Tank Engine to Brooklyn Bridge Park in New York City. The day event invited fans to a sneak peak of the upcoming DVD release, as well as the toys.

"With the TV show's transition to CG animation, the new partnership with Fisher-Price and Thomas' momentous trip off the Island of Sodor—the sneak peek shares with Thomas fans the excitement surrounding the beloved Thomas & Friends brand," says E.J. Minor, vice president, consumer marketing at HIT Entertainment.
