Teddy Mountain, a leading wholesale supplier of DIY plush products, has introduced ECO Origins, a new collection of sustainable plush toys available for B2B distribution in the U.S, the U.K, The E.U. and the Emirates. The collection is designed to educate and engage consumers while supporting local conservation and environmental sustainability initiatives. 

The ECO Origins line features plush representations of vulnerable, threatened and endangered animal species, crafted entirely from certified sustainable materials. This includes all fabrics, stitching, fiber, hang tags, fasteners and packaging. Each toy has an accordion-style graphical hang tag that provides educational content about the featured species. Additionally, every plush animal includes a QR code linking consumers to information about local conservation efforts in the product’s core markets. 

“While there have been numerous attempts at sustainability in similar products, many lack a transformative call to action from an educational and environmental stewardship standpoint,” says Pat Shirkey, president, Teddy Mountain. “The overall intent behind the design of this new line is to inspire our brand ambassadors to engage in localized conservation efforts and eco-conscious practices.  ECO Origins accomplishes this through interactivity and play and is a part of our broader Plush with a Purpose mission.”

The ECO Origins launch also marks the debut of Teddy Mountain’s Partners for Preservation program, an initiative aimed at uniting expert environmental organizations to protect wildlife and habitats. Its first Spotlight partner, Green Kids Club, collaborates with groups such as Elephants Without Borders, Saving the Survivors and Blood Lions to raise awareness about critical environmental issues. Proceeds from ECO Origins sales will fund global conservation efforts, including book donations, scholarships and educational programs.
