Turner CN Enterprises and Spanish toy company Famosa have released the new Boing kids’ tablet in Spain. The tablet’s name was taken from the TV channel that airs Cartoon Network programming in the region.

The new device comes preloaded with episodes of Cartoon Network series including “Adventure Time,” “The Amazing Adventures of Gumball” and “Ben 10,” as well as apps, drawing programs, books and quizzes.

“Famosa’s Boing tablet is a perfect combination of first-class content and a market-leading technology that reflects our whole-hearted commitment to digital delivery of our top brands and content,” says Alan Fenwick, vice president, TCNE.

The “drop-proof” Boing tablet is available now in Spain and allows kids to download new episodes and apps every month. The device also features parental controls that prevent children from having access to unsupervised content and allow by parents to see where their children browse and for how long.

“Boing, which airs Cartoon Network’s children’s shows, is hugely popular in the Spanish market. As a result of this deal children can now watch their favorite TV on the go, at the pool, in the car or at home, and parents can be confident that they are doing so safely,” says Eduardo Garagorri, chief marketing officer, Famosa.
