Spin Master, a leading global children’s entertainment company, is donating nearly 90,000 toys, plush, games and activities at a retail value of approximately $1 million to children in need in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

A selection of plush, family board games, creativity-based activities and puzzles, action figures, dolls, RC vehicles and more will find homes through the help of these organizations dedicated to the wellbeing of children. Charitable partners for the initiative include Baby2Baby, Toys for Tots, School on Wheels, Variety The Children’s Charity of Southern California, Chai Lifeline West Coast, Chai Lifeline Canada, Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada, Make-A-Wish Foundation of Canada, Save the Children, Toronto Firefighter’s Toy Drive and additional charities through the help of Impact Giving.

“During this difficult time, Spin Master remains committed to providing children with the opportunity to grow and learn through play, regardless of circumstance or setting,” says

Ronnen Harary, co-chief executive officer, Spin Master. “Together, with the help of incredible charitable organizations in the U.S. and Canada, we can deliver inspiration, imagination and joy to children during this uncertain and stressful time.”

In addition to the toy donation, Spin Master is also

manufacturing face shields

for frontline healthcare workers. To date, more than 200,000 face shields have been delivered to medical centers, nursing homes and shelters across North America to help support those who are taking care of others.

“We are so thrilled to continue our partnership with Spin Master and provide over 30,000 toys to some of the most vulnerable families across the country impacted by COVID-19,” says Kelly Sawyer Patricof and Norah Weinstein, co-presidents, Baby2Baby. “While toys are always important for the children we serve, this donation makes an even bigger impact right now with kids at home and unable to attend school.  We know that these toys will bring smiles to so many faces during this difficult time.”
