The multiplayer game pins opponents against each other as they race to group three cubes in a row. Players can twist, turn or flip the cage board as they compete to line up a row of cubes that they or their competitor put in play.
“We are thrilled to add this innovative game to our roster,” says Christoph Bettin, chief executive officer, Rubik’s Brand. “We took the twist of an original Rubik’s Cube and matched it with the fast and exciting competition of the sport and created a game for all ages and stages.”
The Rubik’s Cube has been one of the best-selling toys since its launch in 1980. Earlier this year, the company partnered withlicensing agency ChizComm
to secure global licensing deals during its 40th anniversary milestone.
