“We are really looking forward to bringing Sindy into the Tonner fold,” says Tonner.  “As a huge doll collector myself, it is quite a dream come true to be able to work with such an iconic name in the world of collectibles such as Sindy.”

Sindy is the British doll that became one of the country’s biggest selling toys in the late 60s, which endured well into the 90s.

The Tonner agreement is just one of many within the expanding Sindy program. Other deals include a greetings range from The Art Group, apparel from Poetic Gem, handbags from Helen Rochfort and a range of Sindy-branded skins for personal electronics from Diablo Skinz.

“We are delighted to have brought a market leader such as Robert Tonner on board for a program that is growing rapidly,” says Rob Corney, managing director, Bulldog. “Sindy is big news at present and this is being reflected in the huge amounts of interest we are dealing with from the licensing community.”
