Legendary scientist inspires new doll line.

The Queen’s Treasures has developed a new 18-inch doll and accessories range inspired by Dr. Jane Goodall, known for her pioneering research on wild chimpanzees.

Designed to inspire girls to learn about and play along with a strong female scientist role model, the Jane Goodall range will launch in September.

Included in the line are an 18-inch Jane Goodall doll; a rainforest camp featuring a canvas tent and canvas cot reminiscent of the ones Goodall used at Gombe Stream Research Center in Tanzania; a research table and chair; a Gombe Rainforest research kit complete with spotting scope, camera, lantern and other essential research tools; a research outfit inspired by photos of Dr. Goodall doing research in Tanzania; a doll-sized mother and baby plush chimpanzee; and a child-sized mother and baby chimpanzee backpack.

Ten percent of sales proceed from the line will be donated to the Jane Goodall Institute to support programs that further Dr. Goodall’s research, chimpanzee conservation and encourage conservation among children.
