Polaroid Debuts Kids' Tablet

Polaroid has unveiled a new children's tablet through a partnership with electronics manufacturer Southern Telecom.

“Throughout our 75-year history, we’ve been known for creating innovative and easy-to-use products that are fun for all ages,” says Scott W. Hardy, president and chief executive officer, Polaroid. “The kids’ tablet is no exception. It epitomizes the Polaroid brand personality and brings together a host of features that will delight kids and parents alike.”

The Android-based tablet features a customized suite of apps, side and rear bumpers for protection, built-in parental controls and a kid-safe web browser, all designed to provide a safe, interactive experience for kids.

The tablet also comes pre-loaded with a series of apps like “Kids Cam,” “Music Studio” and “Kids Vids,” as well as a selection of top-rated interactive children’s books and Nook for Android from Barnes and Noble.

The Polaroid kids tablet is now available at the Polaroid website and will go on sale at Kohl’s later

this month.
