The deal was brokered by Global Inception Group.
GiGGo Toys will work with the New York Police Department, the Fire Department of New York and other New York City service companies to develop co-branded versions of its ride-on toy brands including MotorTycle, Li’l Tankster and Li’l Skootah targeted to children ages 2 to 7.
The first product to come from the partnership will be the NYPD Motor Bike, which will be available in November at retailers including Hammacher Schlemmer.
“Working with New York City is going to be so much fun,” says Diana Brobmann, chief toy officer, GiGGo. “Soon, we will be coming out with a New York City Taxi Cab ride-on vehicle, as well as a special FDNY fire truck to commemorate its 150th anniversary next year.”
