Tomy International is previewing its 2014 lineup for Chuggington, Sonic the Hedgehog, Pokemon and John Deere.

Tomy International is previewing its 2014 lineup at American International Toy Fair this week including new offerings for Chuggington, Sonic the Hedgehog, Pokemon and John Deere.

"This year we are significantly expanding our offerings of innovative new toys across all our award-winning, best-selling owned and licensed brands," says Greg Kilrea, president and chief executive officer, Tomy International.

Highlights of Tomy’s 2014 lineup include:

  • Sonic the Hedgehog:?Recently named master toy licensee for SEGA's Sonic the Hedgehog, Tomy is planning plush, action figures, RC, role play, vehicles and novelty based on the classic property and the newly announced re-boot, Sonic Boom.

  • John Deere:?The toy company is planning new additions to its Gear Force line the for farm equipment manufacturer. Designed for preschoolers 2014 will see new vehicles, poseable character figures and animals and hemed accessories.

  • Pokémon:?As the exclusive licensee and distributor for Pokémon in categories including figures, figure accessories, plush, play sets, role play and more, Tomy is planning a raft of new additions for the property in 2014 including its first line of role play items.

  • Chuggington: The toy company’s Chuggington StackTrack vertical train track system will expand this year with feature working escalators, elevators and mega cranes as well as new characters, locations and equipment based on upcoming episodes of the Ludorum TV series. Tomy will also add to its Chuggington Wooden Railway line.
