The company has announced that 22 new STEM experiment kits have been added to Thames & Kosmos’ 2020 lineup. From robotics to alternative energy to chemistry to human anatomy, these products offer a variety of scientific topics for young children to explore.
“It’s important to us that our STEM kits don’t just focus on the finished product, but on the educational journey kids take to get to that end result—that’s where we hide the learning,” says Andrew Quartin, chief executive officer, Thames & Kosmos. “Our job is to give kids the tools they need to investigate the world around them, to transform their curiosity into knowledge.”
Thames & Kosmos have ventured into the craft category with Creatto, a new line of light-up crafting kits.
“Creatto aligns with our emphasis on tactile processes to get kids thinking in different ways,” adds Quartin.
Thames & Kosmos has also added on to their board game category. Fans of storytelling games can look forward to a new Adventure Games title, “Adventure Games: The Volcanic Island, “as well as four new additions to the EXIT: The Game series. “The Crew (Die Crew)” will be on display at NY Toy Fair and in retail stores by mid-March. Other board game releases include “The Liberation of Rietburg,” a new game in the world of Andor; Aqualin, a two-player strategy game; “My City,” the latest from board game designer Reiner Knizia; and Targi: The Expansion, an extension for the two-player game “Targi.”
