Nickelodeon and its licensees unveiled a robust new lineup of toys at New York Toy Fair this week, headlined by Dora, Bubble Guppies and TMNT.

Nickelodeon and its licensees unveiled a robust new lineup of toys at New York Toy Fair this week, headlined by the series “Dora the Explorer,” “Bubble Guppies,” “SpongeBob SquarePants” and “Peter Rabbit.”

The extensive roster includes play sets, dolls, plush, battery-operated ride-on vehicles, role play items, bath toys, RC vehicles and construction sets that will be released this spring and fall.

Fisher-Price debuted its new preschool ranges for “Dora the Explorer” and “Bubble Guppies.” Highlights include the Bathtime Bubble Puppy with muddy spots that disappear when he is washed, the Clambulance toy vehicle, the Swimming Mermaid Dora doll, which swims like a real mermaid and the Explorer House play set.

"Each year, our goal is to push the limits of innovation for all of our brands," says Pam Kaufman, chief marketing officer and president, consumer products, Nickelodeon. "Fisher-Price has done a phenomenal job creating engaging products that truly encompass the unique spirit of our shows. Our youngest fans will be able to immerse themselves in the worlds of Dora the Explorer and Bubble Guppies in more ways than ever before."

New SpongeBob SquarePants offerings include plush, collectible figures and role play toys from master toy licensee Just Play; play sets from Fisher-Price's Imaginext brand; remote-control and kid-powered vehicles from Nkok; and building sets global construction toy licensee, Mega Bloks.

Peter Rabbit-inspired products include articulated figures, bath toys, role-play gear, play sets and interactive plush toys from master toy licensee Cartwheel Kids, available this fall; a new specialty plush toy line from Gund this spring; and puzzles, wood tabletop games and skill/action games from Cardinal Industries. 

The studio also unveiled new offerings for its latest hit series, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” including six new construction sets from The LEGO Group that will join the company’s 2013 line and a host of new additions from Playmates Toys.
