Jazwares is teaming up with the National Basketball Association to create the first-ever line of NBA Heroes toys, and has announced plans for new Gravity Falls and Minecraft lines at New York Toy Fair this week.

The NBA Heroes line, which will include action figures, play sets and role play toys, will be available in the U.S. and Canada this fall.

The line will feature professional basketball players fused with super-heroic alter egos with the tagline Stars of the game. Heroes off the court.

“This line represents an exciting combination of high-profile, celebrity athletes and creative play, and introduces a new platform for toys and entertainment,” says Laura Zebersky, executive vice president, global sales and licensing, Jazwares. “The rich heritage of the NBA and our approach to NBA Heroes will bring a unique and compelling style of play that has not been done until now.”

Disney has also tapped to toy maker to create a new line of Gravity Falls toys. Based on the Disney TV series, the line will include figures, plush, role play and play set toys, with initial product planned for fall 2014 in the U.S.

Jazwares will also expand its Minecraft action figure line in 2014 and introduce the new competitive strategy game, Flick-To-Stick Bungees, which is being launched globally under license from the game’s creator Spanish toy company Magic Box Int.

Featuring 96 collectable action figures, players aim their Bungees at scoring targets. The game will be available at retailers in the U.S. this fall.
