“We want to create a brand new way to learn and have fun with Caillou, in a creative and interactive fashion,” says Stephan Tetrault, president, Imports Dragon. “Giving Caillou a voice and a fresh new detailed look was our way of bringing this popular character that much closer to real life therefore bringing preschoolers’ playing experience to a whole new level.
The Caillou talking doll will arrive on shelves in North America this spring as the brand celebrates its 25th anniversary and 15 years on the air this year.
