On Thursday, licensing professionals will host a series of discussions on the connection between licensing and toys at the Spielwarenmesse Toy Fair Germany.

NUREMBERG: Panels to Discuss Toy Licensing

Called "Licences–Recognizing Worldwide Trends in 2015," the session will feature three different panel discussions.

At 1 p.m. local time, Ekstract will be joined by Liza Abrams, vice president, global licensing and marketing, Sakar International; Paul Bufton, vice president, licensing and retail EMEA, Rovio Entertainment; and Johanne Broadfield, vice president EMEA, Cartoon Network Enterprises, Turner Broadcasting Systems. The group will discuss how licensing is helping to drive the toy and youth electronics categories. 

Then at 2 p.m. a national panel will discuss highlights of the German licensing business with speakers to include Martin Bieri of the The Continuity Company, Bernd Conrad and Joe Hofer from m4e, Deborah Salamon from Endemol Deutschland, Sanela Smailhodzic

of ProSiebenSat.1 Licensing and Katharina Muck of Studio 100 Media.

Finally, at 3:15 p.m., Gabriela Kaiser of TRENDagentur will showcase 2015 trends in the TrendGallery.
