The NPD Group Presents Global and European Toy Industry Performance Awards

The European Toy Industry Performance Awards winners have been announced.

The NPD Group has announced the winners of this year’s global and European Toy Industry Performance Awards.

The awards were given to the manufacturers or license owners of Europe’s top gaining toy properties by category, as well as the top gaining toy property of the year, top global toy manufacturer, global top toy property and global top selling toy, according to NPD’s Retail Tracking Service.

The winners are:

          • Dolls- Barbie by Mattel
            • Games & Puzzles – “Harry Potter” by Warner Brothers
              • Infant/Toddler/Preschool Toys – “Paw Patrol” by Spin Master
                • Youth Electronics – Hatchimals by Spin Master
                  • Outdoor & Sports Toys – Nerf Fortnite by Hasbro
                    • Plush- “Star Wars” – Disney
                      • Vehicles – Hot Wheels by Mattel
                        • Explorative & Other Toys – Playmobil “Scooby Doo” by Playmobil

                          Global Top Toy Manufacturer of the Year

                          • The LEGO Group

                            Global Top Toy Property of the Year

                            • Barbie by Mattel

                              Global Top Selling Toy of the Year
